Aldo Ferrari (1962) was appointed to Ethos’ foundation board in 2016 as representative of the Geneva Industry and Construction Sectors’ Pension Fund (CPPIC), one of the two founding pension funds of Ethos. He is vice-chairman of the foundation board since June 2018.

Aldo Ferrari is a Swiss certified social insurance specialist. From 1996 to 2004, he was trade union secretary and regional head of the canton of Vaud at the Industry & Construction trade union and, from 2005 to 2010, he was regional head of the canton of Vaud at Unia. He was also a member of the Swiss federal supervisory commission of pension funds. From 2011, Aldo Ferrari was member and, from 2012 to 2021, vice-chairman of the executive board of the Unia trade union.

Aldo Ferrari is currently co-responsible for the trade sector of the Unia trade union. He is also chairman of the foundation board of the CIEPP pension fund (Caisse Inter-Entreprises de prévoyance professionnelle) and of the RESOR foundation. Furthermore, Aldo Ferrari is vice-chairman of the foundation board of the Proparis foundation, of the Fondation de Prévoyance de la Métallurgie du Bâtiment Genève, of the Fondation de la Métallurgie Vaudoise du Bâtiment, of the Unia’s pension fund and, since December 2021, of the CPPIC and of the Spida pension fund. He is also member of the foundation board of the swissstaffing foundation and of the board of directors of Spida Social Insurance.
